Made using small squares joined together, it's very easy to make and only requires knowledge of one basic crochet stitch : the single crochet.

It's therefore well-suited for beginners thanks to its detailed pattern, which is suitable for all sizes.

To make this beautiful Charlie sweater, you will need the following materials:

  • 5 mm crochet hook

PART 2 : THE PATTERN

STEP ONE : THE SQUARES

First, you need to make a certain number of "squares."

Full squares, half squares... The different shapes allow you to round out spaces such as the collar or sleeves, for a well-fitted sweater.

STEP 2 : ASSEMBLY

Once all the squares are completed, they need to be assembled together to form the sweater.

To do this, use beige yarn and assemble the squares row by row, then column by column.

STEP 3 : THE collar, the sleeves and the waistband

Finally, you need to make the collar, sleeves, and waistband.

To do this, make the different pieces in green using slip stitches, then sew them to the rest of the sweater.

FINISHED !

And there you have it, your Charlie sweater is finished !

Thank you for following this blog post, and see you soon for new patterns !
