MARIO KART AMIGURUMI - SUPER MARIO MUSHROOM

What's better than a little mushroom when you need a boost ? To overtake your opponent, beat speed records on the track, or simply to throw at your friends to distract them on the rainbow road, make this very simple crochet amigurumi !

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

To make this free pattern, you will need :

• a size 2.5 mm crochet hook ;

• wool (personally I used RICORUMI, colors: black 060, white 001, beige 054, red 029) ;

• a wool needle ;

• stuffing.

And that's it!

Abbreviations used to make this pattern :

sc - single crochet

inc - increase

dec - invisible decrease

We'll start with the top of the head of the mushroom.

In beige.

R1 - 6 sc in a magic ring (6)

R2 - 6 inc (12)

R3 - (1sc, 1inc)*6 times (18)

R4 - (1sc, 1 inc, 1sc)*6 times (24)

R5-8 - 24 sc (24) (4 rows)

Sew two "eyes" between rows 6 and 7.

Change for color red.

In red

R9 - in front loop only, (1sc, 1 inc)*12 times (36)

R10-11 - 36 sc (36) (2 rows)

R12 - (1sc, 1inc, 1sc)*12 times (48)

R13 - 48 sc (48)

R14 - (1sc, 1dec, 1sc)*12 times (36)

R15 - 36 sc (36)

R16 - (2sc, 1dec, 2sc)*6 times (30)

R17 - 30 sc (30)

R18 - (3sc, 1dec)*6 times (24)

R19 - 24 sc (24)

R20 - (1sc, 1dec, 1sc)*6 times (18)

Fasten off.

For the dots on the head (make four) :

In white

R1 - 6 sc in a magic ring (6)

R2 - 6inc (12)

Leave a tail for sewing.

ASSEMBLY

Now, you need to sew the four dots on the head, with the first one aligned withe the eyes.

And that's it !
